Pause, Breathe, Be
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy in my practice. With DBT you learn practical skills to support the very emotions and feelings that brought you to therapy. DBT includes mindfulness, learning to tolerate intense feelings, strategies to deal with those feelings, techniques to enhance your communication - especially self-advocacy.
My commitment to you is to provide a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental space. We will work collaboratively to create a trusting relationship. As an LCSW for over 8 years and over 20 years in the human services field, I have significant experience providing trauma-informed support for individuals seeking to explore and reflect as they strengthen their relationship with others and, most importantly, with themselves.
